Costa Rica - Central America's Wildlife Sanctuary
| From the Monteverde cloud forests to the rainforest fringed beaches, where giant sea turtles come to lay their eggs, Costa Rica offers some of the best neo tropical wildlife viewing in all of Central America. This peaceful little country, which is often referred to as the Switzerland of the Americas, provides a sanctuary for a diversity of wildlife and is a naturalist’s paradise. More then 30 species of colorful hummingbirds, bellbirds, and the resplendent quetzal, considered by many to be the most beautiful bird indigenous to the New World, inhabit this ecosystem.
