Uganda & Rwanda - 16 Day Safari

Join World Discovery Safaris 16-day Uganda and Rwanda safari for the ultimate African primate experience. During this safari you will search for chimpanzees in the Kibale Forest and trek mountain gorillas in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and in Rwanda’s Parc National des Volcans. In addition you will most likely be able to find L’Hoest’s, vervet  red-tailed and blue monkeys, both red and black-&-white colobus, bush babies, and olive baboons. Following your arrival in Entebbe, you travel west to Murchison Falls National Park where the entire Victoria Nile is forced through a 20-foot wide gap in the rocks before plunging 145 feet over an escarpment. Queen Elizabeth National Park may have the greatest density of wildlife of any park in Africa and the opportunity of observing wild and free ranging gorilla families in their natural habitat and on their terms is considered by many naturalists to be the most profound natural history experience in the world. From Uganda’s Lake Victoria shores to the Hagenia forests on Rwanda’s Virunga Mountains, this 16-day safari is an incredible wildlife journey.
